Questions
What you pay for, and what you don’t
- What does each plan include?
- The whole product. Portfolio tracking, automated identity-verification chases, the prepare–approve–file workflow with maker-checker approval, statutory registers and evidence packs are in every plan, on Starter as much as on Bureau. Plans differ only by how many companies you manage, so you are never asked to upgrade to unlock a feature you needed on day one.
- Which plan should I pick?
- Count the companies you are responsible for filing for. Up to 100 is Starter, up to 400 is Practice, up to 1,500 is Portfolio and up to 5,000 is Bureau; beyond that, talk to us. If you are between two plans, start on the smaller one: going over its limit prompts an upgrade rather than cutting anything off.
- Do you charge per user?
- No. Pricing is per portfolio, not per seat — we count companies, not people. Everyone in your firm who touches a filing can have their own login on any plan without changing what you pay, so the preparer and the approver are never the same person for billing reasons.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. New accounts get 30 days free on your real portfolio and no card is required to start, so you can load your own companies and see your own deadlines rather than a demo dataset before deciding.
- How does annual billing work?
- Monthly or annual, charged in advance. An annual plan is charged the equivalent of ten monthly payments, so two months are free. Card payment is taken by our payment provider — we never see or store your card details.
- What happens if I go over my company limit?
- Going over the limit prompts an upgrade. It never deletes or hides data you already have — the limit decides what you pay, not what you can see.
- Are Companies House filing fees included?
- No. Statutory filing fees are passed through at cost, separately from your subscription, so what Companies House charges is what you pay — with no margin added and each fee itemised against the company it was paid for.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then. Consumers also have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription. Your data stays available to export for 30 days after an account ends.
- What happens if a payment fails?
- We tell you and retry. If it stays unpaid your account becomes read-only rather than being deleted — you keep access to your data and can export it, because a billing problem should never cost a firm its compliance record.
- Will my price change?
- Not without at least 30 days' notice, and a change only takes effect at your next renewal. You may cancel before it applies.
